Alsoinformation about the electricity, gas and water consumption willbe displayed on the screen.What do I need?Niko Home Control is available in Belgium, the Netherlands, France,UK, Slovakia and Sweden. A Niko Home Control installation with IPinterface connected to your wireless home network is necessary forindoor control. For remote control, a Niko Home Control gatewayneeds to be installed between the IP interface and the localnetwork. You can operate all connected light sources with a Nikowireless switch according to the Easywave protocol, wherever youhappen to be. You can use them to turn on the lighting in yourliving room with your smartphone while you're still enjoying yourdinner at a restaurant. This will make it seem like you're at home.Or switch on the garden lighting with your smartwatch while you'reon the road. The gateway:the essential link The gateway is the essential link between thewireless switches and the connected switch app. It is connected tothe network using a UTP cable, which then makes a secure connectionwith the internet (4G, 3G, GPRS or a WiFi hotspot). This means thatthe smartphone application is always up-to-date and ready for use.Wireless switches: stick them to a wall and they're ready Expandingtraditional electrical cabling, means destructive masonry work.Anyone familiar with Niko's wireless switches, knows it can be donedifferently. Theweb portal: all is effortlessly linked To programme buttons usingthe gateway, the installer goes to the web pagemyconnectedswitch.niko.eu and creates an account using the client'sname. The user will receive a confirmation e-mail. This e-mailincludes all information on modifying the log-in and password afterconfiguration. As the final step, download the Niko connectedswitch app free of charge on Google Play. It can be installed onsmartphone and tablet. Open the app and connect it to the accountthat was created on the webportal. The app requires Android 4.1(Jelly Bean) or later.
